Giving feedback can be hard. We avoid it to save ourselves discomfort and to avoid upsetting others. Not tackling the problem leads to frustration and can escalate to formal measures. Early feedback, though difficult, allows people to improve.

Once, I gave feedback to someone who was struggling. I got frustrated and, to my embarrassment, my tone of voice showed it.
Letting out your frustration doesn't make anything better. I should have stayed calm.

We often avoid giving feedback to be "nice".
We might minimise the error to avoid upset. But being nice in this way isn't helpful. It stops learning from the mistakes. You can be kind and still provide useful, difficult feedback.

A grilled chicken that is completely burned to blackened skin.
A slightly golden brown chicken.
“Oh, it’s just a little dry, it’s fine! Here’s the heart!”
My bet is this happened as I did not poke the fat pockets to release the rendering fat, and it all spilled out and caused a huge flare up on the grill. Unlike the last one.
