I can see definite obvious tangible improvements in my kids' mental health now that we have been here for a bit. It's taken a lot of talking and medical care and work and everything isn't perfect but I'm so glad to see the trajectory even if it's messy sometimes. #leavingtheus

A thing I learned yesterday is if you order a new lamp on Mercado Libre and put it together and it has an American plug, that's actually ok, but if the bulb it came with is 120V instead of 230V, it will knock out the power in your entire apartment! #themoreyouknow #leavingtheus

We got our cédulas today!! It took forever! It's like an ID card that you constantly get asked what your ID number is and I always have to give my passport instead and it is always only partially effective getting you what you need. So now we have it! ✨🇺🇾 #leavingtheus

Another q re: #LeavingTheUS Anyone done: Dublin - Belfast - Liverpool w cats? In order to take cats in the cabin of the plane may need to do trains, planes, automobiles, and a ferry. I’m not looking forward to it. I have to take at least 2/4 of my cats in cabin bc 2 have asthma and 1 diabetes. FUN.
