Mark Henry thinks WWE isn’t maximizing Randy Orton’s potential. Speaking on Inside The Ring, Henry argued that Orton has been “underused” in 2025 and believes the Viper works best as a ruthless heel, not a babyface champion. He called for Orton to return to his “Legend Killer” roots, punting heads, dropping RKOs, and stomping anyone in his path. “I wouldn’t want Randy to be champion as good guy Randy. I want Randy in the role that’s tailor-made for him—coming in, punting people again, RKO’ing people’s grandmothers and kids, stomping everyone. Let Randy be Randy.” Henry even compared Orton to the scorpion in the classic frog and scorpion tale, saying it’s simply in his nature to strike. Orton hasn’t held a world title since 2020, and while WWE has teased a feud with Cody Rhodes, Henry believes the best move is unleashing the vicious heel that made Orton one of wrestling’s greatest villains.
