My latest purchases for my ZZH’s DVD collection. Legend of YunXi and The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion have joined to my Word of Honor collection. Only the latter has English subtitles. ☺️

Yes - I remember watching him in #WordofHonor and #LegendofYunxi, so when I saw the reason he had been blacklisted I was like “What? He went to a wedding near a shrine? How is that a crime?”

But afterwards I discovered it involves patriotic sensitivities, so of course the authorities clamped down.

I’m a fan of Ju Jingyi, even though some of her dramas are unfinishable! (I’m thinking of #RebirthForYou and #LegendofYunxi - fun dramas to begin with, but there are just too many evil characters and the leads suffer endlessly in recycled agony). I liked her in #InBlossom and #LegendofWhiteSnake
