How can we make a #carfree or #lesscar lifestyle more *conceivable* to so many (in the U.S.) who have lived in/soaked in car culture for decades? Make sure that those of us who DO live that way are giving off cues (not gloating!) that we have extra joy and resilience right about now.

Pedestrianized streets for the big win. LOVE this news out of my own city, #Seattle and wish this for all other U.S. cities trying to get #lesscar infrastructure rolling in their communities. It works! LOTS of people like walk/bike/no car zones!!!! And that helps local businesses!
