Vlak voor zonsopkomst. Een donkere woonwijk met hoge bomen, met daarboven een diepblauwe lucht die, naar de horizon toe, lichter wordt en een oranje rand heeft. (Just before sunrise. Wat later. De lucht is lichter van kleur, er zijn wat oranje-rode kleuren achter de boomkruinen aan de horizon en daarboven twee witte vliegtuigstrepen door de lichtblauwe lucht. (A little later. Nog wat later. De opkomende zon is zichtbaar door de kale boomkruinen aan de horizon, de lucht verloopt van grijsblauw, naar goudgeel, vlak boven de horizon. De opkomende zon schijnt door de boomkruinen aan de horizon, op een tak links zit een ekster. De lucht is lichtblauw en bijna wolkeloos, linksboven een vliegtuigstreep.
