A large metal bird feeder (the feeder is large, the birds small, not some heavy metal band of owls) which has two partially eaten fat balls inside a central cage where, along side them, is a very pleased with himself ratus ratus. Not only has he bypassed the squirrel defences but there is no chance to be eaten by a kestrel inside this cage. This cage is also quite high off the ground so there must have been some serious antics to get into it.

“You only said no squirrels!” Said Ratty, quite perturbed by the cross words sent his way.
