A drawing of the hybrid child, now grown up - it is a creature that looks like a bug-like crustacean with many crab-like legs and brightly glowing blue-purple armour on its shell, but with a more humanoid torso and face, except it has mandibles in place of a human mouth. It looks very startled and has apparently fallen onto its back with all its legs in the air, directly on top of Samuel, who is lying crushed on the ground under its carapace. The shadows of his shocked crew can be seen in the background. A little label pointing to the hybrid reads "like father like child," and a label pointing to Samuel reads "dead instantly."

A comic that begins with the Luckless Captain from Fallen London, studying maps in his cabin. In the second panel, he's dozed off at his desk as the candle burns low, and the image transitions to a dream in the next panel: the Luckless Captain looks around, stunned, to find himself standing in the bright white hallway of the Nightmare-Orphanage, with hallways and doors and stairs sitting at impossible angles, upside-down and sideways. In the next panel, the Captain looks around, frightened, asking "What manner of nightmare..." while behind him, a dark shadow is cast across the askew hallway, with Poor Edward's tragic red mask emerging from the shadow. "Ah," Poor Edward says, "you must be the Luckless Captain." The Captain turns to face him, teeth grit and wide-eyed. Poor Edward bows, smiling cruelly behind his mask, and adds "I'm told I'm meant to look after you."

the new #fallenlondon agents feature lets you loan equipment to the luckless captain so he can do tasks for you in the background, and if you got the "Loyal Nightmare of Poor Edward" in #lightfingers ... that counts as equipment....
