I've been really getting into my first cyberpunk 2077 playthrough, so what my OC's would look like in Night City has been on my mind~ I like the tracksuit I ended up with for Annette. Her primary dress focus is practicality over visuals, but having something that looks clean and intentional on the job is definately a bonus.

Chibi OC's 9/9 - Following in the footsteps of the others, two final magic branch founders arose: Udolf the first Skin-changer and Sol the master of Mimicry. Udolf is the Patron of self. He could change his form at will, into an animal or simply use animal aspects to create something in between. It is said that his power arose when he needed to protect his kin. Skin changer temples are often embedded in caves and natural dens, somewhat similar to Rillette's creature temples. Sol is the youngest patron. It is said that they were impatient in spirit, but wished nothing more in this world than to learn of and experience all that their seniors could teach, so vast was that desire, that they developed Mimicry; the ability to copy another's magic while in their vicinity. Mimics are thought to be the strongest magic users when in a crowd, but alone they bear next to no magic ability at all. Those blessed with this branch of magic recognise this, and thus Mimic temples are odes to ALL of the patrons, each with their own podium to be worshiped. Chibi OC's 8/9 - Creatures and Health. Rillette came into her magic following Yedda, (who foresaw the other four patrons arising). She is the first human to connect with animals magically and gain Familiars. A creature loving woman, it is said that Rillette’s powers appeared when she needed a friend. Those blessed with the power of Familiars pay their respects to her in Temples to Rillette. These temples are very creature friendly, with perches high in the rafters and water pools for drinking. They often feature feathers, bones and sentimental items gathered over time. Symbolic items taken as offerings to meditate/prey by are those gifted freely by the users familiars, naturally this means they vary from person to person. Cynric came next, the first human to use regenerative magic, which he crafted into a healing power unlike any other. It is said that his power came to him in order to save the one he loved. He was a peaceful person by nature and was known for keeping his healing wards spotless. Those blessed with regenerative magic pay their respects in temples to Cynric. which are airy and especially clean, with the focus on health and healing. They are often decorated with cynrics symbol, strung high, and house medicinal herbs and potions. Symbolic items taken as offerings to meditate/prey by are basins. Chibi OC's 7/9 - Elements and Sight, the first two of Six original magic users. Humans of this world were not always blessed with magic, there was once a time that the human kind were forced to flee the mainlands for fear of powerful wild magic in the land and sea. In doing so they came to settle in the faroff continent they now call home; a safe harbor from many of the beasts that dwell in deep waters and hunt from ancient shores. Aniran is one of six original magic Humans. He was heralded as the first user of Elemental magic (sometimes referred to as ‘Natural magic’). His tale is the oldest of the six original users and he is widely believed to be the first human to use magic in recorded history. It is said his powers came to him in a time of desperation. Thousands of years later those blessed with Elemental magic still pay respects to him as their Patron in temples adorned with plants and natural materials. Yedda is the second human to awaken her magic. The patron of Sight, and the first seer in human history. She was beloved as a kind soul even in her time, thousands of years have not diminished that deep respect. Chibi OC's 6/9 - The Widow Princess and The King Himself. Celily Reeler is the niece of King Reeler, a recent widow she's almost always clad in dark mourning colours. Despite her apparent loss, the sickly-sweet woman maintains a harmonious, gracious air of charm. That charm keeps most from looking below the surface, at the danger dressed in silk and smiles. King Reeler presides over the southern territories and rules over Grismur city from its aptly named ‘kings district’. The man rarely makes public appearances, but keeps his presence known through the city law enforcement and his personal force of Collectors. Considering his position, surprisingly little is known about him, only that he's been king for as long as anyone can remember. Chibi OC's 5/9 - One was taken by force, the other by false promises. The King’s Collectors obtain any and all who might hasten their goals. Amity was taken a few years ago, she managed to protect her sisters but not herself, after all only the most renowned healers have the influence to refuse a Collector when they come knocking. At first her work in The Gold District was just about survival; do what she's ordered to who she's ordered to, it's them or her. But after a while she began to see the vision the king had, the power they might unlock is she just sacrifices a little more. Argyle was taken in as a boy, given opportunities above his family's station, and moulded into the Commander of the Kings Collector force. His regenerative magic was likewise moulded, not to heal but to destroy, into a weapon befitting his newfound title. Chibi OC's 4/9 - Abner and Emil moved to the city from a mountain town a region over, both young and ambitious. Abner had dreams of helping people as a city police officer, Emil similarly sought to put in his lot with politics. Years later their dreams were technically achieved, abner was a respected Grismur officer, and Emil had connections to powerful people. But things in the city were going south for a while, since before the two of them set foot there. When they REALLY started going south however- when people started disappearing and private soldiers blended with the police force into the worst of both worlds: Abner cut his ties. He and Emil formed a resistance, a small thing at first, not long after that a young bard joined the frey, who could charm a noble right out of his riches, and who was also dissatisfied with the state of his home city. At first it was by choice, ‘a job opportunity’ in the upper district, but eventually he began rounding them up by force with his private militia of “collectors”. Chibi OC's 1/9 - Had these in the finished backlog for an age, finally organised em into pairs and trios that make sense, so i'll be posting em at last over the next few days~ Thanks to an impending cataclysm unwittingly set into motion at the end of ‘War of corruption’, folk have been disappearing into lakes, rivers, and marshes for centuries. It was thought many drowned, or had been taken by magical creatures of the water, So when they began emerging from the watery depths as if no time had passed, years–sometimes centuries–out of time, the populus was in uproar. These “Bog folk” had access to greater magic study the likes of which had been severed in modern magic users (again thanks to that very same war). Not only that, but with these strange pre-war people there also came all manner of foul creature and twisted magic. Annette, Mabel, and Fern are three such “bog folk”, arising from the same crooked lake within weeks of one another. They were not alone in their arrival, there are many like them, but it doesnt make them any less of a target to the powers that be.
