Chibi OC's 9/9 - Following in the footsteps of the others, two final magic branch founders arose: Udolf the first Skin-changer and Sol the master of Mimicry. Udolf is the Patron of self. He could change his form at will, into an animal or simply use animal aspects to create something in between. It is said that his power arose when he needed to protect his kin. Skin changer temples are often embedded in caves and natural dens, somewhat similar to Rillette's creature temples. Sol is the youngest patron. It is said that they were impatient in spirit, but wished nothing more in this world than to learn of and experience all that their seniors could teach, so vast was that desire, that they developed Mimicry; the ability to copy another's magic while in their vicinity. Mimics are thought to be the strongest magic users when in a crowd, but alone they bear next to no magic ability at all. Those blessed with this branch of magic recognise this, and thus Mimic temples are odes to ALL of the patrons, each with their own podium to be worshiped. Chibi OC's 8/9 - Creatures and Health. Rillette came into her magic following Yedda, (who foresaw the other four patrons arising). She is the first human to connect with animals magically and gain Familiars. A creature loving woman, it is said that Rillette’s powers appeared when she needed a friend. Those blessed with the power of Familiars pay their respects to her in Temples to Rillette. These temples are very creature friendly, with perches high in the rafters and water pools for drinking. They often feature feathers, bones and sentimental items gathered over time. Symbolic items taken as offerings to meditate/prey by are those gifted freely by the users familiars, naturally this means they vary from person to person. Cynric came next, the first human to use regenerative magic, which he crafted into a healing power unlike any other. It is said that his power came to him in order to save the one he loved. He was a peaceful person by nature and was known for keeping his healing wards spotless. Those blessed with regenerative magic pay their respects in temples to Cynric. which are airy and especially clean, with the focus on health and healing. They are often decorated with cynrics symbol, strung high, and house medicinal herbs and potions. Symbolic items taken as offerings to meditate/prey by are basins. Chibi OC's 7/9 - Elements and Sight, the first two of Six original magic users. Humans of this world were not always blessed with magic, there was once a time that the human kind were forced to flee the mainlands for fear of powerful wild magic in the land and sea. In doing so they came to settle in the faroff continent they now call home; a safe harbor from many of the beasts that dwell in deep waters and hunt from ancient shores. Aniran is one of six original magic Humans. He was heralded as the first user of Elemental magic (sometimes referred to as ‘Natural magic’). His tale is the oldest of the six original users and he is widely believed to be the first human to use magic in recorded history. It is said his powers came to him in a time of desperation. Thousands of years later those blessed with Elemental magic still pay respects to him as their Patron in temples adorned with plants and natural materials. Yedda is the second human to awaken her magic. The patron of Sight, and the first seer in human history. She was beloved as a kind soul even in her time, thousands of years have not diminished that deep respect. It is said Yedda's powers came to her so that she may warn her kingdom of an impending threat.
