13.5 years ago, a little Pomeranian/Chihuahua/Pinscher mix enjoyed his first day of freedom by playing with a purple squeaky ball. He’s sporting a sparkly pink harness that the nice animal rescue volunteers scrounged up for him. The former wearer of the harness was a teacup pig, but she’d outgrown the harness and it was time for it to pass to a wiggly, nimble hellraiser who tried his very best to avoid going into the car.

A small fox dog contemplates freedom, legs splooted out like a frog and big pointy ears up and monitoring for the slightest danger.

Just thinking back to the day over 13 years ago when I brought Buster home (in a teacup pig’s sparkly pink harness from the animal rescue, because he slipped his collar as soon as we got outside and he was confronted by the horror of getting into a car). #dogs #littledogs #pets
