Taco Joint's Elote, or grilled Mexican street corn. I have been eating a lot here and I'm glad there's a stall like this just in front of the beach. This is also inside Mercato, my favorite hangout place here in Liwa.

Since the resort's restaurant takes a while to prepare and cook food, I ventured out and went to Mommy Phoebe's Place, a well-known spot here.

What's up Liwa!
LiwLiwa in San Felipe Zambales will always be a favorite of mine, close to the metro and great vibe. I figured I'll try this resort for a change.
It's good to be back and just chill.

If ever you're visiting Liwliwa this is the resort to stay at. Great restaurant. The air-conditioned huts are good for 4 and some have ensuite bathroom. Just consider the sketchy internet signal.

There's just something about bonfires that puts you at ease. It's like all your worries are set ablaze and extinguished with the last ember.

Mommy Phoebe's is an institution. Whatever you need, they probably have it. Chips, ice cream, tampons, sewing needle, beer, etc. They have nice smoothies too!

Beef Kebab and Kofta Balls from Sestra Liwa.
The kebab could use less of the charred taste and more spices while the yogurt dip could be less sweeter. The kofta was just okay, nothing to be excited about other than it's a nice place to chill.

Back to serenity.
It's nice to party once in a while here Liwa, but I'll take this any day of the week.
So If you want to party, head to Le Quvoh and you won't be able to sleep until 4 am but you'll meet nice local folks.

We heard there's a party in Le Quvoh later and based on a number of experiences, it's easier to crawl 10 meters to your bed than the entire stretch of beach. So we moved here for tonight. Freaking genius.
