Just the transformation of a human into a werewolf. The lunar phase can be seen with the phrase "Friday night brings a werewolf."

The werewolf of the Argentine Pampas "Lobizón". The seventh male son was cursed with becoming a "Lobizón" when the moon rose on Fridays.
In the countryside, families who had a seventh son abandoned him or, worse still, killed him.

Luz Mala (Evil light)
A sinister entity of light that haunts the countryside at night, the Luz Mala takes on a humanoid shape or manifests as a glowing orb hovering just above the ground. Some believe it to be the restless soul of the tormented, forever wandering the fields. If you ever see it—stay away.

Caá Porá
The Caá Porá is a monstrous, malevolent giant from Guaraní folklore, covered in thick hair and shrouded in darkness. It smokes a pipe crafted from a human skull and shinbone, a chilling reminder of its victims. Said to lurk in the mountains of Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil, this creature devours those who cross its path. At times, it takes the form of a woman to lure unsuspecting prey into the depths of the forest.

Coquena
The Coquena is a mystical, gnome-like guardian who watches over the forests and protects its animals. Benevolent yet elusive, this magical being ensures the balance of nature, punishing those who harm wildlife and guiding those who respect the land. He wears a poncho, sandals, and a hat, constantly chewing coca leaves. Moving with incredible speed, he leaves no trace behind and remains almost always invisible, perceptible only to the local fauna. He protects animals from both hunters and those who mistreat them and is deeply feared by those who do wrong.

Lobizon
The Lobizón, also known as Luisón, is a fearsome beast similar to the European werewolf, yet distinct in both appearance and behavior. Born as the seventh son of two cursed Guaraní beings, this creature transforms into a gaunt, half-man, half-dog monstrosity. Its body is emaciated, its limbs end in three enormous claws, and some claim its hind legs bear hoof-like feet. With glowing, blood-red eyes, it prowls the night, feeding on animal waste, unbaptized infants, and, on occasion, attacking humans. The mere sight of the Lobizón instills paralyzing terror in its victims, leaving them frozen in fear.
Unlike a werewolf, the Lobizón does not need to bite you to pass on its curse. By simply walking beneath your legs is enough to condemn you. It is immune to firearms, and the only way to kill it is with a cross-shaped dagger or blessed bullets.
