In earlier iterations of the #LondonPlan many community and green groups were arguing that Reducing the Need to Travel should be an objective. By that standard London is doing well. Some of the reduction is poverty, but not all, clearly, if @londoncentric.media is right in their analysis.
I'm rather surprised that @tomcopley.bsky.social said that, given how ADAMANT the BtR companies were at the #LondonPlan EiP that they would NOT entertain social rent tenancies as it would mean doing deals with RPs. Have they changed their line. Good if true.
