I've been hearing for years that the failure to teach/learn cursive handwriting was going to blow back somehow. I didn't really think so.
Am now watching youngsters struggle with 19th century really nice penmanship in #LostCanadians forums (on church documents + census forms).

This is clearer than any media I've seen (even from immigration law firms) on the #LostCanadians issue.
There are displaced Acadians, descendants of the Underground Railroad, and the economic diaspora all working this now. It's fascinating.

The 1st #LostCanadians article that gets it right. A lot of people are eligible for citizenship now.
Just this morning a #trans family got their approval and are very happy about that.
I understand this isn't for everyone, but if you need this--might consider it.

The new Canadian legislation for the #LostCanadians looks very promising for a lot of people in New England--we are finding the documents we need to claim that citizenship pathway.
I know it's not for everyone, but maybe it will help some people. I've seen it already in the forums.
