Here is a combination garment from V&A museum 1810. A white garment in one piece that is a vest and knickers with long legs. It’s on a tailor’s dummy. The knickers come down to the knees and are frilled from there. It’s a loose fit and slightly waisted. Scoop neck with trim. I’d wear it!!
