1) Ahead of time, heat water and steep sage, salt, and pumpkin spice as if making tea, let cool completely. Print, draw or sketch images (small so will fit in your glass jar) of all the things you wish to remove power from, such as a hat, anti semitic images, or a hand gestures of hatred, for example. In permanent marker, draw a dead battery symbol on the jar or other symbol that resonates with you. 2) As the eclipse starts (it doesn't have to be visible! or do ahead of time if not possible during eclipse time), melt a little of the candle and stick it to the bottom of the jar so it stands upright in the center or use a candle holder. Place your images around the candle inside the jar. 3) Pour your salt, sage, spice "tea" into the jar so it surrounds the candle and drowns the images. Add hot sauce or vinegar, visualizing pouring all your rage over the hatred in the world into the water. Make sure top of candle is above the water. 4) Place jar on top of mirror or foil. in view of the eclipse if noecible Light candle and watch until it is snuffed out by the water as it burns down. With the knife make 9 counterclockwise circles around the jar visualizing cutting off the strings of influence the person in power and removing their connection or sway with the items. 5) Optional: while watching the eclipse, tie 9 knots in a string visualizing the power draining from the objects and the person and then tie around jar. Make another string with 9 knots imagining the world you would like to see, keep this one with you, tie on wrist, keychain, or backpack/ purse. 6) If possible, once candle is snuffed by water, place lid on jar and leave out until equinox. Dispose of contents in trash. Do not leave any candle or flame unattended! Do not pour salt water on plants or soil! Works no matter if it's visible in your area
