Bending the ribs for one of my current musical instrument projects, an octave Mandola. I used a heated bending iron (on the left), wetting down the wood and wrapping it in foil. Then using the heat/steam coxed it to shape so that I could clamp it into the mold. #musicalinstrumentmaking #luthery
