For the #Magiknights book I'm working on right now, I added this aside: "I suggest ending the session before this fight begins. Inform the players, out of character, that this fight cannot be won, but there is a story element coming after this 'defeat' that allows for a second chance to win."

In my "Knight at the Gallery" #magiknights book, the Magi-Knights will face natural disasters, an untouchable cosmic horror, and their own Herald fleeing.
But then, temporal shenanigans happen and they can try the fight again.
Maybe they ought to get two levels out of this, instead of one.

Me: I need a good title for a #Magiknights episode where they encounter a Kamen Rider Ichigo expy at a Renn Faire.
My Brain: "Dinner and a Showa"
Me: Good pun, but no.

I went back to read my #Magiknights adventure centered on a trans girl, and it made me cry. If I had had the high school experience that I wrote this girl having, I would have transitioned decades ago.

Ideas I've added to my ever-growing #magiknights pile:
1)A Musical Episode, where everyone in the city is singing and dancing, and all Skill Checks are made with Performance.
2) Murder on the Orient Express as a middle-school play that's sapping the souls of the actors

Last night, I ran a #magiknights session for an upcoming book. In this book, a closeted trans girl tries to get out of playing baseball despite the insistence of her father that she keep playing despite suffering grievous injury on the diamond.

I'm reading through #MagiKnights new book "An Echo From The Stars." I highly recommend picking it up!

A description of an antagonist from an upcoming #MagiKnights book: "He stands 6'9, with ash gray, cracked skin under a tattered trenchcoat. On his chest are sutures over his heart. He holds a 5 foot tuna knife with an ivory handle. When he runs, he moves with the same speed as a moose in snow."

#MagiKnights Episode idea I just came up with: What happens if you combine "Trouble with Tribbles" and Furbies.

Started writing up a new #MagiKnights Episode titled "Panic at the Panopticon" where the Magi-Knights have to break into, then out of, a sentient prison that contains the essence of Outsiders defeated by Magi-Knights.
Other Magi-Knights have gone missing, because the prison needs new wardens.

Ran a playtest last night for my #Magiknights cooking competition episode.
At one point, a player rolled a 1 on the random fruits and veg table and got Durian. They asked for a Mulligan, rolled again and got a 1 again. So they had to integrate Durian into a Surf and Turf dish.

Greetings! I haven’t posted art in a bit, thought I’d change that with a project I’ve been working on this past week for a system called #Magiknights .

Had the pleasure of playtesting it a few years back so I’m glad to contribute something fun and to try to test my skills as an artist. ~<3

It was an absolute blast to write this one, and to run playtest in the server. And this won't be my only expansion pack for #MagiKnights!

For all my trans friends out there: One of my upcoming #MagiKnights books is about magically enforced school spirit threatening to destroy the bodies of the baseball team.

To be fair, you could conceivably run a magical girl riff on any Super Sentai series in #MagiKnights. I'm even writing campaign books loosely based on Gekiranger and Kakuranger 30th Anniversary. Magiranger is already a MagiKnights campaign. Magical Liveman would have a really sad beginning.

I just lassoed some of my geographically close friends into a #MagiKnights campaign by saying "Magical Girl riff on GouGou Sentai Boukenger."

Still thinking about #MagiKnights. Miss Frizzle's class would totally be prepared to fight the Invading Evil, and they're so inured to weirdness that even looking directly at a thing that should not be wouldn't give them trauma.

Want to play #MagiKnights in this coming year? Here's an idea that happened in both of my campaigns. Give your character a set of devious, troublemaking younger twin siblings.

Working on ideas for my #MagiKnights campaign book about Space-themed martial arts. One idea is episode titles based on planets. This includes:
"Mercurial Whims; MourningStar; Unearthed and Plutonic Ideals"
