My fox race, the #Maikong, are based off a South American species of the same name (Aka, the crab-eating fox). Key traits I incorporated were living over a wide range of habitats and the tendency to move into other animals' abandoned homes (burrows)

A dark-skinned fox person is chasing a pink axolotl in a lake. This character was originally an Erenville copy. However, when I played through Dawntrail with them, I started adding a tail here, ears there, and by the end of DT they were their own person. Still, he's just one glam plate and a haircut away from being Erenville again. :)
Kaiwano Suuyu Weiyuma ("The Dark Star Shines") has endured massive tragedy in his life (the loss of his entire village to overzealous tural vidraal hunters), but thanks in part to the aid of a kind stranger, still retains his curiosity and zest for life.
