i think that both Scott and Scar being very calm for supposed very powerful 1000+ years old creatures often get underestimated because of their demeanor.
they play social games first and resort to violence when other ways failed. and i think some can mistake this for a weakness

finally watching Vampires Smp and i'm having majortimes thoughts
what if they were lovers when they still were human but then Scar dissapeared and it broke Scott. This is the time when his sire found and turned him - it slowly transformed Scott into being who he is now
