🎧 Loon Point by Carrie Classon I really loved Loon Point!  It is set in Minnesota which is a plus for me.  It's a character story.  First is Norry Last who runs The Last Resort, with its cabins on the lake.  She is strong and independent and kind.  Bud is on the local fire department, but used to be a police deputy.  Lizzie is an 8 year old girl who lives with her single mother in a rotting trailer.
