After my Mamgu died, I saw magpies a lot. They were her joint no. 1 fave bird (shared with robins and wrens).
I'm having a really shitty time right now, and I saw a #mapgpie. One for sorrow. I thought "Oh Mam, I wish you were here", and another one swooped down.
