Atti and Margie having an argument, there is no dialogue, everything they’re saying is depicted in pictures and symbols. I’ll provide a brief summation here. Margie is slouching in a computer chair, Atti is standing on the desk. Atti is upset because Margie is wearing a shirt with a silly cartoon frog on it. He thinks she’s not taking his situation seriously and is mocking him. Margie is exasperated and explains that she was exhausted and genuinely didn’t think about what was on the shirt when she got dressed. Atti accuses her of being goofy and unserious, which will result in him getting killed. Margie indicates that this is a cycle that’s repeating again. She makes the accusation that when he pushed her to break his curse last time, she was in a bad mental state and THAT resulted in the spell going wrong and him turning into a frog

Atti stares at her, shocked and angry. He demands to be let down from the table. Margie initially says no, looking like she’s exasperated and trying to walk back what she said. Atti gets pissed off and slams his little hands on the table, accusing her of keeping him prisoner. Margie angrily complies, leaning over in her chair to lower him to the floor. Atti angrily storms off while Margie questions where he’s going. He’s so small that even when he’s barely exited the room, he can barely be seen. A zoom in bubble shows that he’s yelling over his shoulder at her to not look at him. Margie is annoyed.

Margie waits a while and follows to see where he went. He’s struggling to go up the stairs, only successfully pulling himself up the first five or so steps. Each step is twice his height. There’s a close up of him struggling to pull himself up another step. Margie’s legs can be seen at the foot of the stairs as she asks him if he wants to be carried upstairs. Atti hesitates, then begrudgingly accepts her offer. They’re silent as Margie lets him climb into her hands and she carries him upstairs. She deposits him onto her nightstand, where his little shoebox house is.

The epilogue has dialogue. Atti is sheepishly grabbing his arm. “…Look, I’m sorry…” They silently stare at each other, as if waiting to see if his apology will magically break the curse. (His first curse was broken with a genuine apology.) Atti: “…I guess it’s stupid to expect lightning to strike twice.” Margie, glancing to the side: “Maybe you don’t mean it.” Atti looks hurt but reflective about this assessment. He turns and silently retreats into his shoebox house.

While I tend to depict these two getting along, they definitely get on each other’s nerves sometimes, especially when stressing about curse stuff.

I think I might be mean and make this the last interaction they had before Atti got spirited away to #Hetherev.
