My own children walking down to Marloes Sands a few years ago. Grateful to my Grandad for this gift of beauty and so many happy memories out of something so painful for him.
Thinking on #VJDay of my dear Grandad, who fought in the Royal Marines in #Burma. He was injured physically and mentally. He refused his medals. But he fell in love with #Marloes, #Pembrokeshire, where he trained before deployment. We returned throughout my childhood & now I bring my kids there too.
