I just finished hand drawing the Doc Savage style header in Illustrator. Was gonna do the job title on paper, but vector took the same amount of time and was much more precise.

I'm using Illustrator as a guide to draw the job title by hand, matching the Bantam-era Doc Savage titles. This process is faster and less frustrating than doing it in pencil.

Today's webdev: Amping up these tile cards from faint gray to bold yellow made the words tougher to read. Overshot the branding UI at the expense of UX. Might try gray with background image.
