Eito's mama, M"aylah Aht, was injured in the attack in Gyr Abania and has (or supposed to have) burns on her face. She lost her vision from her face injury.
She acts like it doesn't bother her at all.

"Oh, Haku. I tried my best-- I really did," Eito sighs, ears lowering as he struggles to find words. He does, however, start walking forward. Haku sees him getting closer, but his past aggression was gone and he wasn't sure what to do. So he stayed still and just watched the blonde miqo'te move closer.

The hug takes him by surprise, Haku grimacing a bit due to the sudden movement -- he holds his hands to the side awkwardly as Eito closes in more and rests his head on him with his arms wrapped around tight. It's not too bad, but he's not used to hugs whatsoever. "Haku, I have so much to tell you."

It was then that Haku relaxed and eases into the hug, placing one arm around the smaller miqo'te and a hand placed over the top of his little brother's head. Right...He had a little brother now. "Alright...Don't-- You're staying close by. Ya' hear me? For now at least," Haku grumbles, resting his chin over Eito's head for good measure. END.

Eito turns back around now to face him, looking nervous under Haku's harsh stare now. "I-- I really am, M'eito, I--.." He's cut off by the other man. "I am M'haku Nunh, eldest son of the late M'aht Nunh," Haku snarls, beating a fist to his chest, "You're pissing me the fuck off, kid. You're about to get a beating." Eito lowers his head, but then furrows his brow. It dawns on him.. "M'haku...Haku? Wait--...Haku?! You're M'haku?"

They stare at each other in silence for a moment, eyes searching the other's face and trailing over each other's features. "M'haku...?" Eito's voice breaks the silence, "I tried to come home..I got lost."

In a heartbeat Haku swears he sees that small miqo'te that used to look up at him with a smile. The one that used to grab his tail to follow him around, the kid that used to have nightmares and would snuggle with his twin Riku, the one that was scared of the dark and needed a story to calm them down. The kid he searched for for so long...until he couldn't anymore and declared dead. This kid was...right here.

The mention of his late father's name chills Haku to the bone. There was no way... He couldn't even place this guy's scent at the moment; there were a mix of earthy tones and a lavender and honey smell he could only assume was from a lotion or bath soap. He looks Eito up and down, still frozen in place. This guy...did have the same color hair.

Haku decides to finally move around the desk in silence, also letting go of a breath he didn't know he had been holding. Was he...angry? Sad? He couldn't place an emotion either.

"Hey!" He growls, jabbing another finger at Eito, "You said you changed your surname. Where the hell did you get that from? You've gotta be pullin' my leg. Did Riku put you up to this? How would you know that name?!" He's getting louder by the second.

Haku freezes. Where had he heard that name--? No...how dare this guy bring them up. This had to be a jest. His youngest sibling was too young to survive the Garlean attack on the Peering Stones. He's searched everywhere for them...

"You shut the fuck up. You just made that shit up," Haku growls, jabbing a finger at him from across the desk, "What's your real name?" How dare this guy...bring up Eito.

The smaller miqo'te scoffs. "Wow...you're a charmer." He doesn't turn around as he continues to look through the drawers and cabinets. "That's my real name for sure. I've had it since birth, but the 'Tia' is a recent development. Changed it from 'Aht' when I was a teen."

The taller sighs impatiently and looks away with a sneer. Just his luck -- a guy who probably has no idea what he's looking for.

"Do you even know what they look like?" He asks, finally rolling eyes eyes back over to the blonde who had been rummaging through glasses and brightly colored bottles on the counter for a good five minutes. "I'm making sure I'm grabbing the right thing," Eito answers flatly, his tail twitching in annoyance, but he continues in a calmer tone, "My name is M'eito Tia, by the way. I don't think we've formally met."

The sound of a door makes the blonde miqo'te lift his head and tear his attention away from the tome he had been reading. A taller, much more rugged miqo'te with red hair strolls up to the desk. "Ah! Aren't you the Warrior of Light?" Eito asks from behind the desk, smiling ear to ear at the newcomer, "Did you need something?"

"I know I'm not exactly supposed to be back here, but I needed to read up on something important.." Eito continues, looking a little embarrassed as he sets the book down.

M'haku, the Warrior of Light in front of the desk, snorts and waves a dismissive hand. "I don't care -- I just need a healing potion. Plain and simple."

Eito is a little taken aback by the attitude, but takes it as the guy just having a bad day. "Oh, let me get that for you since I'm already here," he offers, grinning to the gruff miqo'te in front of him. There's another grumpy noise from Haku, but he doesn't protest as the blonde begins moving to the side cabinet.
