We live in Kent and my son missed the 2015 #MenB #vaccine rollout by a few years. I looked with trepidation into his #RedBook this AM and found he’d received the catchup jabs as a toddler! So grateful to live in a country dedicated to childhood #vaccination (and which has an #NHS)! 🙏🏻 💉

What is important in the current situation:

➡️ cases are geographically limited
➡️ incubation period up to 10 days
➡️ close contacts: antibiotics + vaccination (incl. #MenB)
➡️ surveillance includes molecular monitoring & antibiotic susceptibility testing
➡️ consider travel history when assessing cases.
