A wide image of famous Mesa Arch in Utahs Canyonlands National Park. But at night under starlight. The arch shows some sandstone color on its starlit surfaces with much weathering. The arch is across the entire length of this image. It's underside is dark, and that frames the landscape far beyond and the horizon where the LaSal mountains are seen to the left, and the soft amber gold glow of a few small towns to the right on clouds. Below the horizon are patches of snow far away below the rim of the plateau. Other features inside the canyon are faintly visible. Above the arch are many brilliant stars and some hazy areas of cloud blotting a few of them out on the left.

That time I went to #MesaArch.
I managed to get no other photographers in the shot!
