#Saturn this morning. Image with #Takahashi #Mewlon 210 telescope and Player One Uranus C camera. I got fogged out, so had to boost the camera gain to get enough light, which makes the image a bit noisier. #astronomy #astrophotography #solarsystem

The picture shows a pair of double stars in Lyrae, known as Epsilon 1 and 2. Each stars shows the Airy disk, with a small ring of light around it, the first diffraction ring. This pattern is caused by light passing through the circular opening of the telescope.

A beautiful sight in anything but the smallest telescopes, the double #doublestar Epsilon Lyrae. Imaged last night with my #takahashi #mewlon 210, #televue 2.5x barlow lens and #PlayerOneAstronomy Neptune M camera.
