A sculptural vintage 1950s handmade sterling silver 6 candle candelabra/candelabrum designed by Ib Trier Morch for Anton Michelsen of Denmark. Known as the "Bolgeslag" The Waves candelabra, designed by Ibi Trier Mørch (1910-80) for Anton Michelsen in 1950. She worked for Michelsen for a very short time from 1949 to 1952, and won a gold medal at the Triennale in Milan for another of her designs for Michelsen. A superb example of mid century Danish modern design by one of Denmarks top designers of the period! Measures 6-5/8" at highest point by 9-3/4" by 8" , and weighs 925 grams or 29.74 troy ounces. Marked as shown in my photos including Michelsen mark, "Sterling Denmark" and designer mark for Ib Trier Morch. Excellent vintage condition.

an ICONIC vintage 1950s handmade sterling silver modernist 'comma' brooch designed by Karen Strand for the firm of Anton Michelsen of Denmark. An entirely handmade piece that is concave at front with raised edges, and tapers thicker to one side as shown. Really quite a complex design for such a simple shape! Measures 2.5" long by 1.5" wide by about 1/2" at thickest point. Weighs 21.7 grams total. Marked at back as shown with Michelsen maker mark of "AM" under a crown, with "Sterling Denmark" and "Strand" for designer Karen Strand. In excellent vintage condition
