Fun fact- Land version of The Gill Man is played by Ben Chapman while the water version is played by Ricou Browning. Detail- Designed by Milicent Patrick and sculpted by Chris Mueller, along with a team from Bud Westmore's makeup department.

It is actress Julie Adams (Credited Julia). She is brunette Note-*According to the designer, Gill Man did not have bright red lips. This was most likely altered for publication in Life magazine.
