A crochet cowl laying flat, diagonal on a white background. Brisk, cool shades of mint with just a splattering of pale yellow. This is a standard-ish sized cowl, that sits closer to the neck, at 12.5" laying flat, or a circumference of around 25". It is just a hair over 7" tall, so it is easy to keep tucked in a jacket, or even when wearing a hooding or pullover/jumper. Given the more dense stitch style and thickness of the yarn, this will be best for colder days, however it is 100% acrylic. This style of cowl is my own pattern design. It features ribbing on both sides, making it pretty much the same fit no matter which way you pull it on and a dense, textured stitch, keeping you warm, and giving your nose a place to duck, when needed! Why a cowl? Unlike traditional scarves, cowls don't have loose ends that need to be tied or managed. This makes them travel friendly, super convenient and easy to tote along if you are unsure of what weather the day might bring!
