Sudbury Totten mine rescue in 2021 was a long, complex affair Vale miners had to climb thousands of feet to get back to the surface while some had to be hoisted manually.

A group of #miners from #Zambia was in #GreaterSudbury last wk to learn from the best. Zambia will host the 2026 international #MineRescue comp, so they were mtg w folks from #OntarioMineRescue, considered some of the best. OMR responds every wk to incidents.
