Monument to Lenin (on the project sculptor P.P. Yatsyk), was opened on the territory of the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh) in 1954. His place of installation is not accidental and is more than symbolic - behind the pedestal is the main exhibition hall the USSR.
