As a GM, figuring out players' motives is vital to a successful campaign. Ideally, it will roughly align w/their characters' motives, but I can say from experience, this is not always the case. Threading that needle can be a high-wire tightrope walk. #MixingMetaphors.

Trump allowing Nvidia to sell AI chips to China is just further evidence of how no one knows how to slow this runaway train. It's an arms race between the major US AI companies and China, and everyone is just stepping on the gas. Full speed ahead!
