T: “Look Mr. H, you're the only teacher I trust and I just wondered if –” Mr H: “Tommy, I'm really proud of you for speaking your truth –” T: “-- you could help me with this song writing contest.” Mr H: “-- And I think you should tell xir how you feel.”

Panel 2) Mr H and Tommy state at one another, in unison they say “Wait what?”

Panel 3) Me H turns away awkwardly, as Tommy states brightly up at him with an innocent expression. The angle is from above, emphasising how much younger Tommy is. T: “What did you think I was gonna say?” Mr H: “Nothing! Nevermind! Uh, just go on.”

Panel 4) Mr H looks thoughtful, with his fist in his chin. “... Oreo Pasta.”

Tommy and Mr H walk down the corridor together. Mr H looks down at Tommy with a curious expression. Mr H: "Tommy?" T: "Oh! Hey Mr H." Mr H: "What's going on with Oz? Are you two fighting?"

Panel 2) Tommy looks back at Mr H, confused and concerned, thinking things through "Oh that. Well, I wanted to–" Panel 3) Tommy's face swaps to being overly excited and enthusiastic. Mr H automatically draws back a little. T: "--But you can help me! Mr H can we talk somewhere?!" Panel 4) Mr H sweats a little "Uh. Ok, let's go to my classroom."

Back in the maths classroom. Mr H sorts out his things at his desk. A poster if Albert Einstein looms over them. A progress pride flag sits in a pencil pot. Tommy looks nervous and doesn't even turn to face Mr H. Mr H: "So, what's going on?" T: "Mr H, you're the only teacher I trust…"

Mr H still has his back to Tommy, but Tommy risks a glance at him "... and I just need someone to support me right now."

Oz gets things out of their locker whilst Tommy excitedly explains his plan to them O: "You want to write a song to win a contest so that Saqouro can meet that boring ass 'musician' she's crushing on? Congrats Tommy, that idea somehow bears oreo past in worst idea ever." T: "Oh come on! It's not THAT bad!" O: "You don't even know music! You don't even play an instrument!" T: "I took piano!" O: "When you were SEVEN!"

Oz and Tommy sit on the benches wearing PE kit (Gold TShirts and Midnight Blue Shorts), watching a basket ball game happen. The basketball team are all shirtless with glittering abbs. Oz has her arms crossed and a deadpan expression, clearly more interested in watching the abs than listening to Tommy. Tommy paces back and forth excitedly. T: "So I'll relearn Piano! And I'll write the song! I have a whole year to get this thing right! How hard can it be?"

Panel 3) The school bell rings as Mr H unlocks his classroom door whilst humming an unknown tune. Panel 4) He turns to stare as Oz storms past him with a grey storm cloud following behind. Panel 5) Mr H looks on in even more confusion as Tommy chases after Oz. T: "Oz, wait a minute!"

Tommy is nearly vibrating with excitement. Oz finally looks over at him. “... Alright, what is it?”

Oz has a deadpan expression with just a pinch of heavy heavy judgement “... I never thought I'd say this… but you beat your own record."

Tommy watches between the two of them like a tennis match. S smiles wide. Tou: ‘Ro you should totally enter that contest! S: Toulouse, you know I’m tone deaf! It wouldn’t do me any good to have a song I wrote be recorded by Kaleb James!

Tommy has an epiphany with a ‘Ding Ding Ding!’ Tou and S faces appear in speech bubbles. Tou: Oh c’mon ‘Ro! First prize would be meeting Kaleb James! Don’t tell me you wouldn’t want that! S: Yeah I guess I wouldn’t mind that! Haha

The school bell rings and Tommy races out of class, clutching his bag and screaming for Oz.

So Kaleb James is the biggest pop star ever! Well, he's more popular with girls than with boys – but whatever. Who cares what they think? Anyway, he wrote a song when he was only 14, and became a mega superstar and now at 18, he's a REALLY BIG DEAL! He's just a really great singer and performer. Blah blah blah blah" Toulouse's smirk widens "Can you tell 'Ro is his biggest fan?"

Tommy: "I am not distrac–" Oz smirks like before as Tommy's head fwips around to look at the Latine girl who just walked past him to enter the classroom. She is very feminine, with long brown hair and wears a baby pink puff sleeve shirt with a bright pink shoulder bag.

Tommy blushes, wide eyed. There's a large "BA-BUMP" sound effect. The background has turned pink and flowers and bubbles and hexagons similar to those found in Shojo start to fill the page.

Tommy stares at the girl as she giggles. He is surrounded by more "BA-BUMP" sound effects as the roses and hexagons and bubbles become more obvious.

Panel 4) The girl continues in to the classroom, still surrounded by a cloud of pink whilst everyone else is in the "normal" grey world. Tommy is a great shadow who has been completely ignored. Panel 5) Tommy sighs and leans against the locker. Oz, looking snarky and ready to tease her friend. "Yeah, you're definitely NOT distracted by Saquoro Jones. The "BRINNNNNNNNG" of the school bell cuts across them
