zwei große, kugelförmige Felsen am Strand. Diese Steine wirken fast wie riesige, runde Eier oder Bälle mit einer aufgebrochenen, rissigen Oberfläche. Es handelt sich dabei um die berühmten Moeraki Boulders in Neuseeland. Diese Steinkugeln bestehen aus Sedimentgestein und entstanden über Millionen von Jahren durch eine langsame Mineralablagerung um einen Kern – ein Prozess, der als Konkretion bezeichnet wird.

As blue hour drew to a close, a heavy sea fog rolled in, and the lights of Moeraki took on a lovely glow.

I'm not sure, but I think the red on the right comes from trucks driving down State Highway 1.
