The early morning blue hour in Sidmouth, Devon and a landscape oriented image. The sea fills almost half of the frame. It looks flat calm owing to the long exposure. On the left is a little white water as the waves break on a tiny sliver of beach. Towering above the beach and running into the image is a huge sea cliff. The rock within it is red in colour and built up in layers. On the extreme left it fills right up to the top of the frame before gradually runs down to its end point a little past the middle of the image. The sky also contains layers of cloud in shades of blue.

A scramble round the rocks while on holiday in Fuerteventura brought me to this location where I could have rocks in the foreground that curve around and run up the right side of the frame with the beach carrying on from them. The sea is swirling up to the rocks, with the waves stilled a little by lengthening the exposure time. Above the sky holds the promise of another lovely day and just a hint of colour that comes with sunrise.
