BEST MADE AN UNUSUAL GESTURE-SHE INVITED THE THUMPING, LOUD - PLAYING YOUNGSTERS INTO HER HOME...” She says, “BOYS, LET ME HAVE MY PEACE AND QUIET UPSTAIRS, BUT THE CELLAR IS YOURS!”

The 1964 Dell Beatles comic really highlights the gaps in the story as it was understood in the first flush of American #Beatlemania. The basic facts are pretty close, but Pete and Mona look more like peripheral characters on Leave it to Beaver
