Toys first design from early last year , she began as a ‘zombie dog blue’ that’s all I had in my mind At this point in the design she didn’t have her own guts spilling but carrying her lunch. The nail is more realistic in her head and she has bright skeletal markings . The end of her tail is skeletal , missing the fur/meats.
A little more refined from the first design , I wasn’t happy with her body type in this design. I was thinking average height average built at the moment. She still has bright symmetrical skeletal markings. A mid stomach stitch together with metal staples is added.
Changing the design about a year later. She’s built a bit more athletic, her bright skeletal markings are gone. I felt like these were distracting and a bit overdone in my own design work. This is also when I turned her from ‘zombie’ into a patchwork monster. Like Frankenstein, reanimated. In this version I wanted her design to match a story I had come up for her. She is two dogs stitched together to actually *BE* Toy. (Bi polar disorder nudge/ she becomes a rep for my bi polar ) *this concept is inspired by the movie Patchwork (2015) * I’ve changed her eyes to look less confusing and less detailed. I felt like it took away from the focus of her design to her actual story. Ive added more detailed teeth and added some discolord limbs. Changed the nail to a more colorful cartoony design, making it lime green with a toon skull stamped on it , also changed the color to the skeletal tail tip to green
I created this reference for AF 24 Keeping more of the same characteristics from the previous design. Body type change to her being much taller , a bit more athletic (she works out!) in this version of her added a shadow creature inside of her abdomen, this was only for AF because I thought you were supposed to actually fight one another’s OC so I gave her a power. 🙄 I’ve made her hair a bit longer , changed the color to the nail. Current design , this is the design that I’ve been working with her story, gave her a GF, sexual orientation: lesbian Story is still under construction 🚧
Toy has had a lot of different designs/ evolutions 😵💫
