Color illustration in light and dark blue tones, with slight reddish hues that intensify at the bottom. A young Adar lies on the ground curling up, his long black hair scattered in messy waves over his head. Beneath him flows a river of blood that pools red, but the closer it gets to his body the blacker it turns. Several white stars appear on the black surface. The image on Adar's torso appears distorted, imitating broken glass or a broken mirror, and in one of the "fragments" the effigy of Morgoth can be seen reflected.
