Making mischief in the Great Salt Lake with the Utah Historical Society this morning. Iβve done many a hammock #MountainOffice, #DesertOffice, and one #LakeOffice (on a boat in Utah Lake), but Iβve never done a #LakeOffice literally sitting in a lake. π€£
1st #MountainOffice hammock of the season. I couldnβt do many last year. Hopefully many more in 2025. A bit breezy & chilly this AM, but the PM should be glorious! Reading a super fun book and prepping author interview questions for my @writingwestward.bsky.social Podcast. New episode on Monday.
Havenβt donβt a hammock #MountainOffice for a while, so I was pumped to join my archaeology colleague and friend @michael.searcy on Utah Lake for an inaugural #LakeOffice today. Time to find out if we get seasick reading and writing on our laptops in the waves. π΅βπ«π€£
Inaugural hammock #MountainOffice of the season to finish off the pile of awards and funding application judging and ranking. The local avian population doesnβt seem to be thrilled about my presence though. π€·ββοΈ
