Een bij en een wesp van mozaïeksteentjes op een houten werkbank. Er omheen veel losse reststukjes en twee blauwe plastic bakjes. Er ligt ook een tang en er staat een potje met wat tegellijm.
Het moet nog een nacht drogen en dan morgen voegen - en dan zie je pas echt hoe hoe er uit ziet, maar hier zaten de elfjarige en ik vandaag lekker mee te pielen.

People often ask me what tiles I use for my mosaic animal portraits. Well, most of the time they are a mix of small porcelain tiles ("Emaux de Briare", my absolute favorite) and small glass tiles ("Pâte de Verre"). Both are 25 x 25mm (1 inch) and have a thickness of 4mm.
