Highlights • COVID-19 is associated with spinal ischemia and hemorrhage. • Anterior spinal, posterior spinal and central watershed areas are the most common sites of spinal ischemia following COVID-10 infection. • Epidural, subdural and intramedullary hematoma are the most encountered types of hemorrhagic spinal stroke following COVID-19 infection. • Early detection, high level of vigilance and appropriate neurosurgical care are the key stone of treatment paradigm for such a rare medical event.
