I loved My Fated Boy (Viki). This show is so cute and healing. I adored the central relationship and how its history was revealed and enjoyed the friendships/supportive work colleagues. I also appreciated how it explored societal pressures. Also yay for non toxic love triangles! #myfatedboy #cdrama
Gahh! I love #MyFatedBoy 😆
It's so well balanced!
My weekend plan includes finishing up #Glory 🍃🍵, enjoy some more Fated Bad Boy vibes in #SpeedAndLove and probably start another jdrama that fell in my lap.
Like #IWannaPunchThatScumbag
Might also have been me. I’ve recced #MyFatedBoy multiple times as a better but less well-loved noona romance C-drama than #FindYourself! 🤭
Last night I somehow found myself watching My Fated Boy on Viki. So far, I am very much enjoying this #cdrama! ps. I know some lovely person here recommended this show to me last year (when I was loving another noona romance, Finding Yourself). I cannot remember who... but thank you! #myfatedboy
Still from C-drama My Fated Boy showing the two leads holding hands.
Promo poster for C-drama My Fated Boy, showing four “passport-style” machine pics of the two leads holding one another and doing funny poses.
He’s also the young cutie in #MyFatedBoy. 🤯🤯 (One of my favourite noona romances BTW.)

#MyFatedBoy looks unfairly HWAT in fake blood and disillusionment...
and will certainly be the sweetest, most attentive devotee in love.
Not to mentioning the similar family setup.
#SpeedAndLove
Great constant, in my opinion. 😌
#MyFatedBoy is also on Viki.
I loved him in #MyFatedBoy.
Oh, that’s a fun one. I do always like a good noona romance. #FindYourself And if you enjoy that C-drama, definitely add #MyFatedBoy to your watch list. Also check out #NothingButYou. (I’d actually score both of these noona romances higher than #FindYourself!)
Musicians are the focus of day 4 of the #DramaJobChallenge. I considered #LetMeBeYourKnight (which is a very bingeable K-pop band romance drama), but then felt I’d rather showcase #MyFatedBoy as a less well-known C-drama that’s a really lovely watch. Also noona romances rock!
I’m trying to remember but I think in C-drama #MyFatedBoy, the (noona) FL works in an ad agency but one of her major clients is a makeup brand. There’s a whole plot thing about trying on lipsticks. Would that count?
Ah well, I must have been in forgiving mood when I watched it! 😆
By the way, I added some singer/musician C-dramas for the list but they were put in @tinalaubach.bsky.social’s thread. I can copy across here if you like. They were #Crush, #MyFatedBoy, #TheBrightestStarInTheSky and #LoveScenery.
Oh, there are a couple I know with a C-pop ML character. #MyFatedBoy (also a very nice noona romance drama) and #TheBrightestStarInTheSky (which I sort of drifted off from watching halfway through but not because I didn’t want to watch any more).
One green flag ML that always makes me sigh in delight in rewatches is Lu Zheng An from #MyFatedBoy played by #HeYu
He never wavers and is determined to support the FL, and is always on her side
Age gap romance with him being younger (lost track of rewatches)
👀 I did enjoy #MyFatedBoy and didn’t realise that #WannaBe had the same screenwriter. The trailer definitely got me interested. Now I have a second reason to give it a watch when it’s released.
