Photo showing downed tree branches just off the end of our porch. This is a manitoba maple, which is effectively a weed tree, and it is taking down some of the white pine that grows next to it. They bounce off the house (so far without harm) but the branches are easily 3” diameter and larger.

That was a very not restful sleep listening to trees exploding and falling outside. This is the worst ice storm in our area in the 30ish years we’ve lived here. #horuseyepottery
