Once again enamoured with the idea of Johnny being the spiritual successor to Guts he and Vaughn (and occasionally Kerry) do merc shit together post Mikoshi and generally cause chaos

Sometimes Vaughn has a hard time believing that Kerry actually likes him for him-he has avoidance issues/rejection sensitivity-but he eventually gets over that doubt

So I guess when you finish that meditation quest (which I did for the first time not that long ago despite numerous playthroughs), you can meditate with Kerry on the dates with him? Almost 1000 hours in and I'm still discovering new stuff 😅

I like the idea of Vaughn just giving Kerry little gifts all the time-Kerry would do it too, and I like that mod where he sends you consumables and money from time to time for that reason-but he'd definitely do something like get Kerry flowers on his birthday and for their anniversary He does the same for Johnny, obviously, but Johnny's weird about gifts

I gave Kerry flowers instead of the model car in my current playthrough to change things up, good thing they're not real I guess 😅

it's not that Vaughn doesn't like to be seen as human, but he doesn't like being seen as an ordinary person, either-it's why he has golden eyes and fangs and why he doesn't care if his chrome is visible, even if he can easily afford the more subtle types of chrome He also gets some tattoos down the road for this reason (and glowing patterns on his skin that I need to figure out how to make into mods lol)

Gave Vaughn lenses with his natural eye colour (brown) and honestly I don't like it-he's had Kiroshis since he was 14 (he went blind and had to be chipped early) so I've always given him 'unnatural' eye colours 😅

in the Temperance ending, he technically keeps his mind after going beyond the Blackwall, but he still possessed the Canto deck in his head and as he slipped beyond the Blackwall, he blended with the last AI he summoned with the deck's Blackwall gateway-as a merc in the physical world, he had morals to dictate how he did his wetwork and tried to be fair and impartial, but beyond the Blackwall, blended with the AI, that cold side of him he doesn't like comes to the forefront and 'mercy' is not a word he has in his vocabulary anymore. He goes about delivering justice as Alt's merc under the code name Erebus (I took the name from the gun you can get crafted with the same components as the Canto deck, as it seems fitting for AI! Vaughn) He eventually makes contact with Kerry and Johnny (the latter of which is now in Vaughn's physical body) but while he isn't the same Vaughn they knew, he is still very protective of them

Found a new favourite outfit for Vaughn-I'm pretty sure the jacket is *technically* a woman's jacket, but clothes are genderless and he looks nice in it 🤷🏻

I like this one but it also looks like my hair irl right now and I'm not sure how to feel about that 😅 In canon, post Mikoshi, he does change his hair a lot as he grows it out/deals with some horrendous dysmorphia/general self image issues as a result of being split from Vaughn (it's the same for Vaughn, but he's also been dealing with dysmorphia his whole life and handles it a little better) and it takes him a while to figure out that's what is actually going on 😬 I can't imagine the inherent self loathing he experienced before 2023 really helps either
