Mai likes hanging out in the kitchen while he cooks and trying to distract him.

Mai helps Narita pick out his first pair of glasses. Narita has a list in his phone notes of her favorite things. Mai steals Narita's tshirts because she likes how big they are on her, it's not the same if she just buys his size.

I like to think Mai ends up working with machines in some way and because of that, prefers to wear a simpler ring. She keeps the fancy ring for special occasions.
