My dad is funny, caring and dedicated. He taught me that the best ways to support your kids are always being available to support them when they need it and encouraging them to be themselves. On Father’s Day we celebrated my daughter’s birthday. It was perfect.

Today I jumped on the CTrain and joined thousands of Calgarians in the heart of Ward 8 for the Lilac Festival.
The hard work by organizers and volunteers to make this happen each year is a huge asset for our community.

This weekend we were lucky enough to be joined by Ginny at almost every shift.
Ginny is a rescue from Northern Alberta and even though she's only a few months old, she can sniff out a supporter from miles away 1/

Last night in Sunalta we met Owen, a teacher, improviser, and co-founder of the Kinkonauts, an improv education and performance group.

We had a huge weekend at the doors and I owe a debt of gratitude to our volunteers. The majority were doing this for the first time in their lives and performed like veterans
But best of all were our youngest.
